The Glen Gallery at SouthPoint Mall is well stocked and has helpful, knowledgeable staff. I met Jitendra, who patiently answered all my questions about Glen hobs in great detail. I was specifically looking for a Glen hob because my older Glen countertop gas stove had worked extremely well. After switching to an inbuilt hob from another brand, I found the burners inferior – even though they were advertised as brass.
Through some research online, I discovered that not all brass burners are made equal. Cast brass isn't as strong or durable as forged brass, and some hobs combine aluminium bases with brass tops, which degrade faster under high Indian cooking heat, and cause misalignment, poor gas-oxygen mixing, and subsequently black marks on cookware.
I had shortlisted a Glen hob online and went to the store to check it out. Jitendra explained the differences between the various models and guided me to a total forged brass burner hob different from the one I had originally shortlisted. Overall, a great in-store experience that helped me make an informed choice.

A very good home appliance shop with very professional staff. Jitendra was just too good in communication and professional in explaining about the product. I am writing this review after second visit to the shop and both the time the experience has been excellent. Last time in September I bought gas stove - Steel body- which is fanstastic. It is functioning very well. You can see the picture the brass burner is very good. Second item I bought is Oil room heater in Dec. The heater is working very well. Both the products are functioning exactly the same manner as explained by Jitender. I recommend to buy Glen products from here. Further one can also explore other kitchen items and products.
